First In Human Trial Update
We’re pleased to share an early update from our first-in-human clinical trial of SilkAxons.
The first cohort of patients has now reached the 6-month primary outcome milestone. To date, we have observed no adverse events, and all treated patients have already demonstrated meaningful functional recovery!
Importantly, these cases all involved very large peripheral nerve gaps (8–10 cm) — injuries that remain highly challenging to treat with existing standards of care. Seeing effective recovery across this initial group is an encouraging early signal.
While these results are preliminary and the study remains ongoing, crossing this milestone safely and successfully represents an important step forward for our program. We remain focused on disciplined clinical execution, rigorous follow-up, and transparent reporting as additional patients reach key endpoints
We want to thank the patients, the team at the Panama Clinic and our CRO partners who have made this progress possible.
We look forward to sharing further updates as the trial advances.
