Newrotex invited to attend US MedTech Innovator Road Tour Pitch Event

Dr Alex Woods (CEO) attended the prestigious US MedTech Innovator Road Tour at the East Coast “Pitch Event” in Baltimore, USA last month. Newrotex was selected from over 1100 companies to have the opportunity to present our work to panels of leading opinion leaders from the Medical Device sector; Venture and Strategic investors and with leading Medical experts.  In particular, the East Coast event included representatives from the association of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) as well as extensive participation of experts from the US Military and Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC). Initial feedback from the event was extremely positive and we are now awaiting news of our possible progress to the final international awards event.

Research article: luminal silk inside silk tubes for nerve repair

Researchers from MedUni Vienna have published an exciting article today alongside Newrotex Co-Founder Professor Fritz Vollrath. The results, published today in the journal Advanced Healthcare Materials, add even further evidence of the amazing regenerative properties of our technology combining luminal silk fibres from spiders with moth silk tubes for bridging nerve defects.
